Andriy Yurchenko’s Animal Logos Challenge is a 30 day project which aims to enhance and develop his skills more. This project focus on creating logos based on the golden ratio. The golden ratio, also known as “Phi” in Greek, is a mathematical constant. It can be expressed by the equation a/b=a+b/a=1.618033987, where a is larger than b. This can also be explained through the Fibonacci sequence, another divine sequence.

“It is a personal project for practice and portfolio. I choose animals because there are much species and it is interesting to construct it with golden ratio scheme. Also, I chose gradients technique to make it more modern and exciting, sometimes it is hard to choose color combination and then put gradients correctly. Firstly, I choose the animal I would like to construct, search for good pictures and after choose right pose. Then I begin to make scheme and when the shape is ready I colorize it.”
